The only word anyone could say after walking out of the Guns N’ Roses: Not In This Lifetime tour at Bridgestone Arena: WOW.
The 80’s rock group has been on a long stretch of tour dates across the world… and even after all that Guns N’ Roses has been through, they simply still have it.
The electrifying front man, Axl Rose, could still be seen on stage running back forth across the stage while singing during the three and a half hour performance. It goes without saying, but Slash had yet another incredible perfomance with several breathtaking guitar solos throughout the set list.
While staying true to their songs and albums, the band also pulled out a few surprises, paying tribute via two cover songs to the lead singer of Soundgarden, Chris Cornell and the late Allman Brothers Band co-founder Gregg Allman who both passed away this year.
From the beginning to end, Axl, Slash, Duff and co. kept the entire arena on their feet screaming and wanting more. Playing hall of fame hits like “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “November Rain”, “Welcome to The Jungle”, the group ended with the smash hit “Paradise City”, sending fireworks and confetti into the air.
With all the fire, pyrotechnics, and sheer rock and roll, you could say that GNR has came back with a BANG.
