Friday and Saturday night was unlike any other weekend night at Bridgestone Arena. The infamous 70’s band, The Eagles soared into
Nashville putting on a show that everyone will remember.
The show was 3 hours of entertainment with the late Eagles, Glenn Frey’s son Deacon Frey who helped take the lead of a few songs his dad use to sing.
Selling out both shows in Nashville, the band played everything from the hit songs “Take it Easy” and “Desperado” to some of the band members solo-songs that included Joe Walsh’s “Life’s Been Good” and newcomer Vince Gill’s “Next Big Thing”.
Ending the show on “Life in the Fast Lane”, everyone in the crowd knew that there was still one more song that the band could play that they didn’t. Coming back onto the stage, the band started to play “Hotel California” but not stopping there the band continued to play another Joe Walsh song of “Rocky Mountain Way”.
From the beginning to the very end, Joe, Don, Timothy, Deacon, Vince and company kept the entire arena on their feet screaming. With all the guys coming together the band still sounds like they did 40 years ago. All of us as fans, welcome both Vince Gill and Deacon Frey to the band.
