Muhammad Ali, 74, Has Passed Away

Reports out of Phoenix, Arizona are stating that Muhammad Ali, the legendary boxer, has passed away at 74.  Ali was known to be among the greatest of his time, and while not everyone agreed with his persona, no one could deny his record.

Ali remains the only three-time lineal world heavyweight champion. Add to that a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics, and you can see why he was loved so well by fans all around the world.

Spokesman Bob Gunnell released this statement for the family:

“After a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening. The Ali family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support and asks for privacy at this time.”

Float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee in the great beyond good sir. You will be missed.
